Conditions

1. Song has to be an original, which means it must not be performed by any other singer and must not be played in any media (radio, TV).
2. Song duration must not exceed 4 minutes. In the case it is longer, we reserve the right to cut it.
3. Recordings may be sent on various medias - CD, MD, DAT or MP3.
4. Recordings will not be returned under any circumstances.
5. Recordings are protected against misuse.
6. Deadline for applications is set on 15th of August 2005. It is important that the materials are delivered to our office by this date!
7. Selection into the final will take place on September 15. All applicants will be informed about the selection results by e-mail.
8. Entry fee amounts 100 USD for maximum 2 songs. Please make sure that bank fees are not charged from this figure. If you enter two songs, one of them should to be fast-paced.
9. Contestants must not register more than two songs into the contest.
10. Song may be performed in any language.
11. Song must be performed „live“ with backing track (half-playback) and it should have never been published before.
12. Back vocals may be recorded onto the backing track as well.
13. Contest runs in two categories - the first category is the best singer; the second one is the best song of the festival.
14. If the same contestant wins both first prizes, than he/she obtains only the best singer prize; the best song prize will be passed along to the second best song.
15. Entry forms without the confirmation of the entry fee payment will not be accepted.

Important data

• The program of the UNIVERSETALENT PRAGUE 2006 festival will take place from 2nd to 5th November 2006.
• The final evening of the festival will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2006 in the Cinema Hall of the Pyramida Hotel from 7 P.M.
• The applications deadline is on August 15. The date of the delivery of the materials to our office is decisive!

Costs Covered by the Organizer

• One return ticket for the interpreter
• Accommodation for the whole stay in Prague for the finalist
• Accomodation for one accompanying person
• All the activities within the festival program (welcoming dinner, gala party...)
